_The Music Opportunity Program offers three all-city youth orchestras at graded ability levels, allowing your child to perform with their peers from their elementary years all the way through high school.  Al three MOP orchestras are open to any student who successfully completes the audition.

The Birmingham String Orchestra is an entry-level youth orchestra. 

The Birmingham Prelude Strings is an intermediate orchestra for advancing musicians. 

The Alabama Youth Symphony is a full orchestra for advanced student musicians.
